30 September, 2011 | by Retail Bulletin
John Lewis has announced that Marisa Cassoni will be stepping down from her role as the Partnership’s finance director in order to retire.
The retailer said it would start the process to find a suitable replacement shortly although Cassoni would be staying on to finish her work on the Finance Optimisation Programme and the IT Transformation Programme, both of which are due for completion by summer 2012.
Charlie Mayfield, chairman of the John Lewis Partnership, said: “Marisa has made an enormous contribution to the Partnership over the last five years. I am delighted that she will remain with us after stepping down from the Finance Director role to see the two projects that she is leading through to completion.”
