Manor Walks welcomes new stores for 2016
The Manor Walks shopping and leisure destination in Cramlington has announced a wave of new signings following record-breaking footfall figures in December.
New additions and upgrades at the mall include Boots Opticians, Costa and a planned refurbishment at Next early this year. Jewellery chain Warren James has also confirmed it will be opening a new store at Manor Walks.
In the week commencing 21 December, Manor Walks grew its footfall by 9.4% year-on-year and Boxing Day saw the largest footfall increase compared to 2014 with an increase of 22.7%. In addition, 23 December was a record-breaking day for footfall across the retail park and mall.
Bruno Coppola, general manager at Manor Walks, said: “Not only are we welcoming a host of exciting new stores that further add to our great retail credentials, we’re also working with store managers to plan an array of refurbishments starting with Next who are setting the trend for new year, new you in 2016. We are looking forward to a busy and successful 2016, welcoming in and providing for the North East.”
