Manchester Trafford appoints new HR people partner

Manchester’s Trafford Centre has appointed Phoebe Hooson as its new HR people partner.

Hooson has over 15 years of retail experience gained from leadership positions at Tesco and her role as cluster people manager at Morrisons.

In her new position at Trafford Centre, she will be focusing on fostering a positive people culture, promoting values of equality, diversity and inclusion within the organisation. She will also lead the centre’s people strategy, overseeing recruitment and onboarding as well as career development and training for more than 200 staff members.

Simon Layton, centre director at Trafford Centre, said: “This role offers a chance to be part of something special, playing a key role in transformational change and setting the people agenda in a time when the centre plan for growth has never been bolder. With her extensive background in retail, Phoebe is ideally positioned to lead in this capacity and contribute to our ongoing success.”
