London Designer Outlet appoints new centre manager

Outlet centre operator Realm has announced that it has hired Sue Shepherd as centre manager for the London Designer Outlet.

Shepherd has succeeded Ray Cliff who has been promoted to a new business role as head of centre management at Realm. The company was appointed as the onsite management team for the London Designer Outlet last year by owner Quintain.

Shepherd’s previous roles include stints at Nike Outlet, Sainsbury’s and Disney Store. She also has experience of private equity retail, having worked as international managing director of Dove SPA.

Launched at the end of last year, London Designer Outlet comprises 350,000 ft of retail space, with 70 retail units, 20 restaurants and coffee shops, and a new nine-screen Cineworld cinema complex.

Retailers signed up at the centre include Marks & Spencer, LK Bennett, Superdry, Nike and Guess.
