Links of London appoints new CEO
David Riddiford, the former buying director at Selfridges, has been appointed chief executive officer at Links of London.
The annoucement was made by Links of London’s owner Folli Follie following Andrew Marshall’s decision to step down as chief executive of the global jewellery brand.
Riddiford has more than 25 years’ experience in the jewellery and retail industries. His previous roles in include president of Lane Crawford, buying director at Selfridges and deputy managing director of Asprey & Garrard.
In his new role, he will be responsible for driving the growth strategy of both Folli Follie and Links of London in the UK and internationally.
Riddiford said of his appointment: “Both brands have excellent foundations in the UK and worldwide which will enable us to steer through these uncertain economic times with confidence. I am looking forward to establishing strong relationships with all teams within the FF Group.”
