La Redoute says bonjour to Liverpool One
French fashion brand La Redoute has chosen the Liverpool One shopping complex as the location for its debut pop-up store in the UK.
The mail order and online retailer will open a 1,755 sq ft store on Manesty’s Lane from 22 to 26 May where it will sell items from its three French style brands – Laura Clement, Mademoiselle*R and Soft Grey.
La Redoute head of marketing Heidi Kenyon-Smith said: “Liverpool One is the ideal location for our first pop-up store in what is a very important step for the brand. Liverpool One has a very strong reputation right across the region and actively embraces creative concepts with its dedicated pop-up store. We are following in the footsteps of a number of other great brands at Liverpool ONE and are confident of sharing similar success.”
Miles Dunnett, head of asset management at Grosvenor Liverpool Fund, added: “The unique nature of pop-ups generates great curiosity amongst visitors to Liverpool One. La Redoute will be no exception, particularly as this is the first time customers can physically experience the brand before purchasing.”
Founded in 1922 and launched in the UK in 1995, La Redoute is part of the Redcats Group, which is the world’s third largest home shopping group. In addition to France and the UK, La Redoute has a presence throughout Europe, Russia and China.
