Kurt Geiger continues to expand as sales surge
10 November, 2014 | by Retail Bulletin
Luxury shoe brand Kurt Geiger saw its like-for-like sales rise by 13% in its third quarter.
Gross turnover for the first seven months of the year was £210 million. This compares to £230 million for the whole of the previous year.
Kurt Geiger has opened 28 stores to date this year including a flagship store in Milan. The retailer also plans to open a flagship store in London’s West End early next year.
In April, Kurt Geiger separated from The Jones Group and completed a management buyout as it looked to expand both in the UK and overseas. The management team was backed in the acquisition by private equity firm Sycamore Partners.
