Kesa Electricals appoints new COO
Kesa Electricals plc announced today the appointment of Simon Fox, currently the Managing Director of Comet, as Chief Operating Officer, reporting to Chief Executive Jean-Noel Labroue.
In his new role Simon will be responsible for the development and performance of Comet in the UK and our other businesses, BCC, Vanden Borre, and Datart on Continental Europe as well as the Group’s e-commerce developments. Jean-Noel Labroue will continue to oversee the two major businesses in France, Darty and BUT.
Hugh Harvey, currently Comet’s Deputy Managing Director (Commercial), will become Comet’s Managing Director, reporting to Simon Fox. Both appointments take effect from 1st March 2006.
Kesa Electricals plc’s preliminary results for the year ended 31 January 2006 will be announced on 22 March 2006.
