Kering embarks on sustainability partnership with London College of Fashion
Luxury group Kering has embarked on a five year sustainability partnership with The Centre for Sustainable Fashion at the London College of Fashion.
Engaging with LCF students as well as designers, teaching staff, researchers and industry experts, the partnership aims to act as an incubator for new ways of thinking about sustainable fashion.
The partnership will comprise of three main elements including annual Kering Talks where visionaries and business leaders from the fashion industry will speak on the latest developments in sustainable fashion. It will also include an annual student competition, The Kering Award for Sustainable Fashion, and the co-development a full course module in sustainable fashion to be taught at LCF each year.
François-Henri Pinault, Kering chairman and chief executive, said: “I am very proud to be inaugurating this partnership with London College of Fashion, which has a long history of leadership and commitment to sustainability, a value also integral to Kering’s strategy.

The first annual Kering Talk will be given by Pinault at LCF on 29 October.
