Keith Edelman to step down as Thorntons non-exec director
Chocolatier Thorntons has announced that Keith Edelman is to step down from his role as an independent non-executive director on 3 October 2014.
Having joined the Thorntons board in February 2012, Edelman is a former managing director of Arsenal Holdings and was also previously group chief executive at Storehouse Group.
Thorntons said it would be looking for a director with FMCG experience when searching for Edelman’s replacement.
Paul Wilkinson, Thorntons chairman, said: “I would like to thank Keith on behalf of the whole board for his contribution over an important period in the transformation and rebalancing of our company and in particular for his efforts in supporting the executive team in the rapid improvement in the performance of our retail business.”
