Karl McKeever returns to UK TV screens to help struggling family retail businesses

Visual merchandising expert Karl McKeever is back on UK TV screens after being invited back onto the BBC Two show The Fixer to assist Alex Polizzi in helping struggling family owned retail companies to turn their businesses around.

Following McKeever’s participation in the last series of the programme where he helped Polizzi to transform the fortunes of  three independent retailers, he will once again be sharing big business strategy to halt the plight of some of the UK’s struggling independents.

Playing an advisory role off screen and a guest role on screen for one special episode, McKeever will be helping stores to implement effective retail strategies such as improved store presentation, effective brand delivery and new customer service initiatives.

McKeever, who owns the retail consultancy Visual Thinking which works with retailers such as Marks & Spencer, John Lewis and Sainsbury’s, says of the series: “Several of the businesses that took part in The Fixer last year recorded extensive profit and turnover increases, increased average transaction values and also saw other tangible benefits.

Never Miss a Retail Update!

“This completely dispels the perception that reality TV business makeovers are simply two-dimensional displays for the benefit of television and that once the cameras go, things go back to bad for the retailers.”

The Fixer airs on Tuesday evenings from 8pm to 9pm.
