JYSK Nordic to report significant full year growth
Furniture retailer JYSK has said it expects to report a very successful financial year for its Nordic business when it announces its full year results in December.
The company said revenue has increased by 11.2% before the effect of exchange rates and by 9.3% when currency is taken into account.
JYSK Nordic is one of the two large branches of JYSK Group and operates 1,086 JYSK stores in the UK, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Holland, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Greece and China.
Jan Bøgh, chief executive JYSK Nordic, said he was satisfied with the total turnover of DKK 12.8 billion and that all countries had improved their turnover.
He added: “We are capable of creating organic growth in all JYSK Nordic countries. Even in countries where sales within sleeping and living in general are decreasing, JYSK are growing. I am also happy that we have managed to open 69 new stores within the past financial year, while simultaneously growing our business online.”
JYSK Group, which includes JYSK Nordic, DÄNISCHES BETTENLAGER and JYSK Franchise, will announce its full year results on 1 December.
