Judy Wu to open first London store at Connaught Village
Womenswear designer Judy Wu is to launch her first London boutique in the form of a pop-up store in the Connaught Village retail and restaurant district.
The shop will remain open from Monday 14 March to Sunday 10 April.
Having graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2009, Wu’s clothing features intricate embellishments and engineered colour blocking. Each design is cut with precision using an eclectic mix of fabrics including textured Italian tweeds, silks and bamboo.
Joanna Love from the Church Commissioners, said: “We are really excited to welcome Judy Wu to the Village to be the latest addition to our growing independent fashion line-up.
“Judy Wu follows on from the successful launches of The Place London with Simon Burstein of Browns fame, Lucy Choi London and Kokoro. Through our tenant strategy we are building something special at the heart of the Hyde Park Estate with leading independent brands with unique offers in the fashion, design and food and beverage sectors.”
