Joules opens landmark 100th store

Joules, the lifestyle clothing brand, is to open a landmark 100th store in Dublin.

Situated in Wicklow Street, the store will be Joules’ first city centre store in the Republic Ireland and will stock the brand’s range of menswear, womenswear and childrenswear across two floors.

The milestone follows hot on the heels of Joules’ 2014/15 financial results which showed that total revenue grew by 22% to £117 million with EBITDA rising by 18% to £10.7 million. In the UK revenue increased by 17.5% across the brand’s retail, online and wholesale business.

Joules founder Tom Joule said: “I am so pleased we are opening in such a vibrant city like Dublin. Joules has grown almost beyond recognition since I started it more than 25 years ago, and I’m so proud of everything we’ve achieved. We might now have reached 100 stores, but our mission remains exactly the same: to create fun, quality products which stand the test of time, and to build on being what our customers love.”
