Jolie Papier opens first UK store

Greeting cards and stationery retailer Jolie Papier has opened its first UK store at the Lend Lease operated Bluewater shopping centre in Kent.

Situated opposite Topshop on the upper Rose Gallery, the 1,800 sq ft store sells a range of premium cards, stationery, wrapping paper and gifts.

Jolie Papier is owned by Schurman Retail Group, the US company that acquired Clinton Cards in 2012.

Other international brands to open stores at Bluewater in the last three months include Victoria’s Secret, Pink, Adidas HomeCourt and Five Guys.

Never Miss a Retail Update!

Guy Thomas, head of retail leasing at Lend Lease, said: “The opening of Jolie Papier adds another great international brand who have chosen to recently open at Bluewater. Our offer is vibrant and diverse, and we provide brilliant choice for the large number of affluent families that dominate our catchment.”

The news coincides with a strong April for Bluewater when sales increased by 7.3% on the same month last year.
