John Lewis to recruit 50 IT professionals

Department store chain John Lewis has announced that it will aim to recruit more than 50 IT specialists in 2012 as it works to fully integrate its multi-channel customer service offering.

The retailer is looking to hire project managers, business analysts, systems analysts, solutions architects and developers to add to  its 280-strong development team. Thirty of the roles will be newly created .

Owen Roberts, recruitment manager at John Lewis, commented: “Technology has been identified as one of the most important drivers of our business growth.

“We are now looking for talented IT professionals to join our team and help us take multi-channel retail to the next level, cementing our reputation as an industry leader.”
