John Lewis Partnership names Managing Director
The John Lewis Partnership has announced that Andy Street, aged 43, has been appointed Managing Director, John Lewis department stores.
Street has been with the John Lewis Partnership for 21 years and has held senior trading and executive roles, including Supply Chain Director of John Lewis department stores and Managing Director of the Milton Keynes and the flagship John Lewis Bluewater store.
Sir Stuart Hampson, Chairman of The John Lewis Partnership said,
“Andy will bring excellent commercial skills to the role as well as a great understanding of people and commitment to the Partnership spirit.”
Andy Street added, “I’m very excited to have the opportunity to lead our department store business. I look forward to growing it and building on its current excellent run of form.”
