John Lewis opens its ‘At Home’ and Waitrose stores in Horsham
The John Lewis Partnership has opened its new co-located John Lewis at Home and Waitrose shops in Horsham.
The 43,000 square foot John Lewis in Albion Way is the retailer’s 11th ‘At Home’ shop and only the second co-located John Lewis and Waitrose development in the UK.
The shop features the retailer’s first ever Home Hub, where selected interior products are displayed in 11 room sets. In addition, the branch will offer customers an edited selection of 16,000 products across furniture, furnishing accessories, homeware, technology and nursery departments.
Nigel Davis, branch manager of John Lewis at Home Horsham, said: “There has been a huge amount of planning and hard work involved to get us to this stage and I’m very proud of all the Partners involved. It’s great to see how excited our first customers are about the new branch and we look forward to seeing these faces again and again as they become regular visitors.”
The Waitrose store will include juice and wine and beer bars, as well as a new bakery and wine department. The store will also feature new eat-in areas serving tapas, deli platters and freshly baked goods.
Jo Thomas, branch manager of Waitrose Horsham, added: “The new shop co-located with John Lewis ‘At Home’ will enable us to deliver an even better shopping experience and bring together the best of the Partnership in one place.”
