John Lewis launches trial click and collect with Booths stores

The John Lewis department store chain has launched a trial of click and collect points in stores belonging to northern food and drink retailer Booths.

The new service is being offered in Booths stores in Garstang, Ilkley, Settle, St Annes and Media City in Salford.

The move fills a gap for click and collect for The John Lewis Partnership as it looks to find ways to expand the next day collection service in areas where it does not have a big store presence.

If their order is made before 8pm, customers will be able to collect their orders from the Booth stores after 2pm the next afternoon. They will also be able to return John Lewis purchases to the stores.
