John Lewis granted Royal Warrant by King Charles

The John Lewis department store has been granted the Royal Warrant of Appointment as supplier of household goods and furnishings to His Majesty King Charles III.

The Royal Warrant is a mark of recognition to companies who have regularly supplied the Royal Household for at least five years.

The news follows sister company Waitrose being granted the Royal Warrant of Appointment as Grocers and Wine & Spirit Merchants earlier this year.

With regard to John Lewis, the award also reflects its ongoing commitment to supporting its local communities and championing high environmental standards.

Peter Ruis, executive director of John Lewis, said: “It’s a proud moment to be recognised by His Majesty with his Royal Warrant.

“For 160 years, we’ve been focused on offering excellent customer service and the highest quality products, and the Royal Warrant is testament to the hard work of partners across John Lewis and our suppliers.”
