John Lewis appoints pan-partnership customer director
The John Lewis Partnership has appointed Charlotte Lock to the newly created role of customer director.
Due to join the partnership in April, Lock is currently working as director of data, loyalty and digital products at the Co-op and prior to that worked with the BBC for almost nine years. At the beginning of her career, she served as loyalty programme manager at Asda.
In her new position, she will report to the John Lewis partnership strategy and commercial director, Nina Bhatia. She will also work alongside Claire Pointon and Martin George who are John Lewis and Waitrose customer directors respectively.
Lock will be responsible for a pan-partnership customer strategy and will also focus on a new loyalty offering.
Bhatia said: “Charlotte’s appointment reinforces the importance of placing the customer at the heart of everything we do.
“Charlotte brings tremendous relevant experience and will paly a pivotal role in building our partnership brand, customer strategy and loyalty propositions.”
