Jimmy Choo names new non-exec directors

Luxury shoe brand Jimmy Choo has appointed Meribeth Parker as an independent non-executive director.

In addition, Anna-Lena Kamenetzky has been appointed as a non-executive director to replace Bart Becht who is stepping down following the announcement of his continued involvement as chairman and interim chief executive of Coty.

Due to join the board on 1 August, Parker was group publishing director at Hearst Magazines until the end of June and prior to that held a variety of senior roles in publishing.

A partner and head of corporate development of JAB Holding Company, Kamenetz will also join the board on 1 August when Becht steps down.

Peter Harf, Jimmy Choo chairman, said: “We are very pleased to be welcoming two new directors to the Jimmy Choo board. Meribeth and Anna-Lena bring a wealth of experience and new perspectives to the board. We would like to thank Bart for all of his hard work in bringing Jimmy Choo to this point.”
