Jimmy Choo growth ‘on track’
In a statement ahead of its AGM, luxury footwear brand Jimmy Choo revealed it has made a good start to the year and is trading in line with expectations.
While remaining focused on controlled expansion and the development of its retail portfolio, the company is also evolving its product mix with new collections. It said its designs and collections by creative director Sandra Choi were a key factor in the growing global appeal of the brand.
Peter Harf, chairman of Jimmy Choo, added: “I would like to congratulate Pierre and his talented team on their achievements in challenging market conditions. The company’s growth remains on track, including in Asia. Brand awareness continues to grow strongly and particularly in China where the brand remains under-penetrated.”
