Jempson’s opens first in-store pharmacy

Grocery chain Jempson’s has opened its first in-store pharmacy at its Peasmarsh superstore.
Situated within the foyer area, the pharmacy will provide a range of services and facilities including repeat dispensing, emergency supplies, medicine use reviews, blood pressure monitoring, and influenza vaccinations.
Open Monday to Saturday, the pharmacy will also provide a stop smoking service, weight loss clinic, and general health consultations along with advice on minor ailments.
Commenting on the opening Stephen Jempson said: “This is a really exciting time for Jempson’s, we were absolutely delighted to be awarded the NHS Pharmacy contract, this high quality service is a welcome addition to the many services we are able to offer our customers.”
