22 August, 2011 | by Retail Bulletin
JD Sports has appointed Cushman & Wakefield to advise the business on expanding further into France.
The sportwear retailer is reported to be considering opening more than 100 stores in urban areas across the country following the success of its three pilot stores in Paris, Lyon and Lille.
Cushman & Wakefield has been tasked with finding suitable locations for the stores which will measure between 400 and 1,000 sq metres.
JD Sports already has experience of the French retail market following its aquisition of the Chausport sportswear brand in 2009.
