Issa London chooses Japan for debut store
Issa London has chosen Japan as the location for its first-ever standalone store.
The fashion brand, whose fans include the Duchess of Cambridge, will open a store in the Roppongi Hills shopping centre next week following the success of a pop-up shop in the Mitsukoshi department store in Ginza last summer.
Issa chairwoman Camilla Al Fayed told Vogue: “Japan is the gateway to Asia and we intend to expand into Hong Kong and China within the next few years. We will then become a truly global brand.”
Al Fayed also told the magazine that Issa will open a flagship store in Sao Paolo in Brazil at the end of the year.
Never Miss a Retail Update!“Our other main focus is the Middle East,” added Al Fayed. “We expect to open a store in Kuwait by the end of the year, with several more planned over the following four years.”
