Intu appoints new creative and media agencies

Shopping centre operator Intu has appointed creative agency Now and media agency Blue 449 to help promote its consumer proposition.

Following a competitive tender process, the two companies will work alongside a roster of national consumer agencies to support Intu in creating and delivering an integrated national consumer campaign to increase brand exposure and awareness of its 15 shopping centres.

Roger Binks, Intu customer experience director, said: “With the brand now three years old and our customer proposition embedded in the organisation the time is right to leverage this across all the external communications we do.

“We selected Now and Blue 449 to the team, who both demonstrated their understanding of the Intu brand, and shared our vision for what is possible.”

Intu owns and operates popular retail and leisure destinations such as Intu Trafford Centre, Intu Lakeside and Intu Metrocentre together with a number of city centre locations.
