Interflora launches new flower delivery services

Flower delivery company Interflora is launching a new range of delivery services including evening and Sunday deliveries.

Starting on 19 September, the new services will include an evening delivery service between 6pm – 9pm as well as Sunday delivery between 9am – 2pm.

Interflora, which already offers a same day delivery service and even flowers delivered within three hours, is also piloting a new service in London where customers are able to book delivery for specific two hour time slots between 8am – 6pm, allowing them to choose the most convenient delivery time for them. If successful, the pilot will be extended to other major UK cities and metropolitan areas.

As part of the new launch, Interflora has also added greater functionality to its websites as it looks to improve the online shopping experience.

Lyn Davies, director of Interflora Consumer, said that the introduction of the new delivery services was a fundamental part of Interflora’s strategy going forward.

She added: “Over ten years ago Interflora led the way with fast delivery by introducing a ‘Flowers in 3 Hours’ delivery service. Our new delivery services are the next big innovation and will offer customers both the convenience they crave and the opportunity to celebrate life’s most special moments, in the moment, no matter what day of the week or time of day they fall.

“No other flower delivery company can offer the breadth of floral gifts or delivery services and that’s thanks to our network of local expert florists.”
