Ikano initiatives shortlisted at Card & Payment Awards
Retail finance and loyalty specialist Ikano financial services has been shortlisted for two awards in The Card & Payments Awards 2013, which recognise excellence in the credit and store card industries.
Competing against the likes of M&S and Barclaycard, Ikano and its retail clients have been shortlisted in the two award categories of Best Technology Initiative of the Year and Best Affinity or Co-Branded Card Programme.
Ikano’s iFinance system that allows customers of its client Aurora Group to apply for a store card via instore iPads is the initiative shortlisted for the Best Technology Initiative of the Year, and the store card programme it developed with client New Look has been shortlisted for the Best Affinity or Co-Branded Card Programme.
“To be shortlisted twice in these major industry awards is a wonderful achievement for Ikano and our clients Aurora and New Look,” said Dan Joy, Ikano’s commercial director.

The winners of the Card & Payments Awards will be announced at a ceremony on 6 February 2013.
