Home Retail Group promotes Steve Carson to retail and customer ops director role
Home Retail Group has promoted Argos retail director Steve Carson to the position of retail and customer operations director.
In his new role Carson will retain responsibility for Argos retail operations as well as oversee Home Retail Group’s customer services and property services functions.
Having joined Home Retail Group in 2006, Carson has held a number of senior retail roles in Argos and Homebase and was appointed as Argos retail director in 2011. Since then, he has been credited with leading a number of improvements in Argos retail operations as part of the retailer’s transformation plan, including the development of new digital concept stores.
Carson’s new responsibilities will also include overseeing the customer contact centres.

Having worked in both the Argos and Homebase businesses, he will now align services to actively support the customer proposition for each operating business.”
