H&M turnover up

Half year increase for fashion group

Hennes & Mautitz saw a stong increase in profits and turnover in the first half of the year.

Profits rose 56 per cent after strong improvement in the USA and continued success in Germany for the Swedish fashion retailer.
The group opened 34 stores, including four in the UK. where H&M now has 63 outlets in a worldwide total of 800 plus.
