H&M makes its debut in Taiwan
High street fashion retailer H&M has opened its first store in Taiwan.
The flagship store in Taipei had a queue of 1,200 fashion fans waiting outside on the opening day who were kept entertained by DJs and an H&M employee-led performance.
The store will stock an exclusive H&M 2015 Chinese New Year collection, as well as clothing, underwear, accessories, and the H&M Home concept.
Magnus Olsson, H&M country manager of Greater China, said: “We have been drumming up for this very special day for quite a while, and this morning, it is absolutely overwhelming to see the fantastic response from our customers! We are determined to bring a unique fashion experience that will amaze customers in Taiwan.
“We hope the people will enjoy our quality designs from the 230 H&M in-house designers at the very best price, and hope that the H&M flagship store in Breeze Song Gao will be the new gleaming shopping destination in the city of Taipei.”
