Helen Weir to join Marks & Spencer as CFO in April

Marks & Spencer has confirmed that Helen Weir will take up the position of chief finance officer on 1 April.
The retailer announced last year that Weir would be joining the business but did not give a start date.
Weir was previously chief financial officer at the John Lewis Partnership and prior to that group executive director for retail at Lloyds Banking Group. Her previous roles also include group finance director of Kingfisher and finance director of B&Q.
She succeeds former chief finance officer Alan Stewart who left Marks & Spencer to join Tesco.
