Heathrow to open personal shopping lounge at new Terminal 2
Heathrow Airport has revealed details of the retail, leisure and dining offer at its new Terminal 2 ahead of its opening in June.
To be known as The Queen’s Terminal, it will include what the airport says will be the world’s first personal shopping lounge at an airport. The lounge will provide customers with access to a private space and the services of an accredited stylist free-of-charge.
In addition, the terminal will be home to John Lewis’s first ever airport store as well celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal’s newest restaurant, The Perfectionists’ Café.
Due to open to the public on 4 June 2014, the terminal will house shops ranging from iconic British brands such as Cath Kidston and Ted Baker through to luxury fashion houses including Bottega Veneta and Bvlgari.
Max Vialou-Clark, retail director at Heathrow, said: “Terminal 2 marks the next step in our quest to provide passengers with the best possible experience when they choose to travel through Heathrow. Heathrow is now the only airport in the world to offer a free Personal Shopping lounge together with a selection of over 140 brands that have been selected especially for our customers.’
