Harvey Nichols hires Anita Barr as group buying director
Harvey Nichols has appointed former Selfridges menswear director Anita Barr as its new group buying director.
Joining the retailer at the end of March, Barr will be responsible for womenswear, menswear and accessories buying in her new role and will report directly to chief executive Stacey Cartwright who joined Harvey Nichols earlier this year.
Most recently Barr has been global product manager at All Saints and prior to that spent over ten years in buying roles at the Selfridges department store.
Commenting on the appointment Cartwright said: “I am delighted that Anita will be joining the senior management team. This is an exciting time for Harvey Nichols, and her expertise and experience in this market will help strengthen our fashion leadership in the sector.”
