Halfords names new chief financial officer

Halfords has appointed Jonny Mason as its new chief financial officer.
Mason currently holds the same position at Scandi Standard AB, a Scandinavian company that successfully listed in Stockholm in June 2014.
His previous roles include chief financial officer at Odeon and UCI Cinemas and finance director of Sainsbury’s where he worked for five years.
Due to join Halfords in October, Mason will become a director of the company and member of the board.
Jill McDonald, Halfords chief executive, said: “I’m delighted that Jonny is joining Halfords as our new CFO. He brings significant commercial and financial experience from his time across a range of consumer and retail businesses and I look forward to working with him.”
