Gerry Weber to open stores at German rail stations
The Gerry Weber fashion brand is to open retail stores at selected German rail stations as part of a joint venture with one of its franchisees.
The company’s partner already operates four Gerry Weber stores and one Samoon store in shopping centres at the main Berlin railway stations and has integrated these stores into the new joint venture.
Ralf Weber, board member in charge of the retail segment of Gerry Weber International, said: “Thanks to their high footfall, the shopping malls in many German railway stations are becoming increasingly attractive for retailers. They complement the shopping possibilities in the city centres and offer customers a diverse product range. We therefore decided to make growing use of this distribution channel for the Gerry Weber brands in co-operation with an experienced partner.”
