Gear4Music reports sales uplift following EU vote

Online musical instrument retailer Gear4Music has said it its European like-for-like sales rose by 191% in the first full week following the EU referendum vote.

This compares to an increase of 120% in the week preceding the vote. The company said European sales have been supported by favourable exchange rates and responsive pricing.

Gear4Music will give a more detailed trading update at its AGM on 29 July.
