Games Workshop appoints new non-executive director
Miniature wargames retailer Games Workshop has appointed Randal Casson as a non-executive director.
Due to take up his position on 1 July, Casson will also assume the role of chair of the audit and risk committee, taking over from chair of the board, Elaine O’Donnell, who has been covering the position since November 2021 on an interim basis. He will also become a member of both the remuneration and nomination committees.
Possessing 35 years experience as a chartered accountant, Casson has been an audit partner at PwC for the past 22 years. He will retire from PwC on 30 June 2022.
Earlier this week, Games Workshop said it expects its core full year revenue to be at least £385 million compared to £353 million in its 2020/21 financial year.
