Game has been nominated as one of five finalists in the UK’s ‘Business Oscars’, the National Business Awards.
The UK video games chain will compete with four other companies for the Customer Focus Award, with the winner announced on November 11 in Central London.
The Customer Focus Award goes to the organisation that best demonstrates that it has the customer at the heart of its business, and deploys and manages its resources to most effectively meet the needs of its customer base.
Game was also Highly Commended in the Business of the Year award.
Lisa Morgan, deputy chief executive of Game said: “We’re absolutely delighted to have been short listed as a finalist for the Customer Focus award. This nomination reflects the hard work and effort from our staff in the stores, and we’re pleased that this has been recognised by the judges. Our store teams will be thrilled with this announcement.
“Everything we do at Game is designed to help our customers, from our 10 day returns policy, our extensive range, the knowledgeable staff in our stores, our unique Game Reward Card or our e-commerce website. We’re constantly looking to make sure we provide the best service we can.
“Ultimately, we firmly believe that customers must always be at the heart of our organisation, and are convinced that this passionate conviction came through effectively in our entry.”
