GAME appoints new non-exec director
GAME Digital has appointed Clare Urmston as a non-executive director.
With a background in both the retail and manufacturing sectors, Urmston is currently chief financial officer at Symington’s, the private equity backed food manufacturer. Prior to her current role, she held senior positions at Wilko and Northern Foods.
At GAME Urmston will also act as chair of the audit and risk committee of the company and will become a member of its nomination and remuneration committees.
Her appointment will be subject to election at the company’s next annual general meeting.
John Jackson, chairman of GAME Digital, said: “We are delighted to welcome Clare to the board. Her commercial, retail and financial expertise will enhance the balance of skills and experience of our directors.”
