Poundland is to open three new Dealz stores in Ireland. The shops in Cork, Meath and Kildare will create 80 new jobs and bring the total number of Dealz stores in the country to 40.
Online fashion retailer Zalando has appointed Jolanda Smit as its new global PR director. Smit was previously head of global PR at the G-Star RAW fashion brand.
Backpack brand Eastpak has opened a pop-up shop in London’s Commercial Street. The store will remain open until 29 December.

Visitors to the store can place a live bid on one of the retailer’s tablets to acquire the creations. The auction is being held in support of Designers Against Aids and will run until 21 December.
