Free workshops for redundant retailers from ReWork

The workshops are being offered by Retail Trust, the only charity that looks after the needs of all three million people working in retail, through the ReWork programme.

The half day workshops in central London will be led by professional trainers and coaches who will focus on different aspects of redundancy and job hunting. Many attendees attribute their success in finding a new job to the skills they learned through the ReWork programme (worth over £1,000).
Upcoming workshops include:
26 January 2012 – Making Your CV Work for You with Des Christofi
Bring along your CV and get a professional evaluation to learn how to write CVs and application forms that will be more effective for you in the job hunting process. The agenda for the session is available at www.retailtrust.org.uk/workshops

29 February 2012 – Using LinkedIn to Find a Job with Clare Rayner
Learn how to create or improve your existing profile on LinkedIn, increase your network, engage in groups and discussions, and enhance your reputation with recommendations to find a job.

29 March 2012 – Take Control of Your Career with Grace Owen
This interactive and practical workshop will share 4 steps that will put you in the driving seat in this uncertain and shifting landscape, so you can you take control of your career development and plans.

26 April 2012 – Preparing for Interviews & Assessment Centres with Gail Lineham
Discover how to prepare effectively for interviews, present yourself honestly and effectively, and shine as a candidate to ensure you excel at interview.
