Findel hires Gregor Ball as a non-exec director
Home shopping specialist Findel has appointed former Home Retail Group executive Gregor Ball as an independent non-executive director of the group.
Having joined Home Retail Group in 2004, Ball was managing director of financial services at the company until July 2015. He previously held a number of senior roles at Littlewoods Organisation which included being in charge of financial services, ecommerce and marketing.
Ball is currently a non-executive director of Ageas UK, part of the international insurance group, Fortis.
David Sugden, Findel chairman, said: “I am delighted to welcome Greg to the board. His extensive experience in retailing and financial services is directly relevant to our main business, Express Gifts and I am sure will prove invaluable.”
Findel has also confirmed that Eric Tracey has been appointed chairman of the audit and risk committee and that Bill Grimsey has become chairman of the remuneration committee.
