Figleaves boosts buying strength

Online retailer shops at M&S for key appointment
Online lingerie retailer Figleaves has appointed Ryan Murray to the newly created role of buying and merchandising director.

Murray joins the company from Marks and Spencer and at Figleaves will be responsible for managing a team of 15 buying and merchandising staff, sourcing and negotiating contracts with suppliers and managing inventory.
At M&S, Murray most recently held the position of category merchandiser for lingerie. Figleaves chief executive officer, Michael Ross, said: “We are delighted that Ryan is joining us. This is a great new addition to the team.”
Launched in 1998, London-based Figleavese is now the world’s largest online branded lingerie retailer. It now operates a division in New York and stocks over 170 brands.
