Festina names Gerard Butler as new brand ambassador

Watch brand Festina has appointed Gerard Butler as its new brand ambassador.

The actor features in the brand’s ‘Time to Live’ campaign where he allows access for 24 hours to his personal life. He also shares some of the campaign scenes with Denny Méndez, the actress and former Miss Italy.

Produced by photographer Sinisha Nisevic, ‘Festina, Time to Live’ was filmed at different locations in Los Angeles over a two day period and features Butler at work, playing sport and relaxing.

It will be launched internationally in March during Baselworld, one of the highlights of the watch and jewellery business calendar.

Miguel Rodríguez, owner of the Festina Group, said: “It was a great honour to be able to work with Gerard Butler for this campaign. His profile fits perfectly with our brand. To work with him was really easy, apart from being really professional he is also a great person.”

After 25 years sponsoring the Tour de France and other sporting events, Festina said the new campaign represents a new lifestyle marketing approach for the brand.
