Fatface unveils plans for new distribution centre
Lifestyle clothing brand, Fatface, has revealed that it is in advanced negotiations with Portsmouth City Council to acquire a new distribution centre in Havant.
The new facility at Dunsbury Hill Farm will provide up to 120,000 square feet of working space to support the business’s growth plans. These include expansion in the UK and overseas as Fatface looks to increase both its retail footprint and e-commerce sales.
Fatface said the centre will also ensure the continued employment of its local distribution staff and create further jobs going forward.
The retailer will retain its existing head office site at Ridgway in Havant.
Simon Ratcliffe, infrastructure director at FatFace, said: “The new site will support our expansion plans whilst allowing us to better serve our customer base. We also look forward to continuing our support for local employment in the Havant area where our excellent staff, which now total 300 people in both Head Office and our existing distribution facilities, continue to drive this business forward.”
