FatFace ranked top UK fashion retailer on the BOSCO™ Index league table

The Digital Marketing Intelligence Platform, BOSCO™, scored ten leading fashion retailers in the UK for the months of October to November, find out who topped the table and who dropped from poll position.

The BOSCO™ index is a measure of how well retailers are exploiting their digital opportunities compared to their closest competitors. The index is computed 0 – 1000, with 575 being the average score for brands.

A score of 1000 would mean a domain is the only competitor in that country and category, a score of zero would mean the retailer has no offering online. Using cutting edge data science and extensive algorithmic modelling, BOSCO™ pulls in third-party data for each domain to rank and compare a brand’s paid search and SEO performance.  Despite a challenging 16 months for the retail sector, FatFace vowed to keep trading online and invested a significant amount into their e-commerce operations. The brand reported global e-commerce sales growth up 9.1% in 2020, using a more data-driven, analytic approach to reach customers during the pandemic. FatFace have continued to provide the brand experience by offering unique products that are designed in-house, sold through a first-class ecommerce platform, allowing them to maintain their score and position from October to November.
