Experimental ‘creative playground’ pop-up launches at Seven Dials

A new concept store that gives brands the opportunity to experiment with collaborations, installations, brand activations and cultural events has been launched in London’s Seven Dials.

Created by Made Thought, the three-month ‘creative playground’ will host activations and installations from the likes of Fred Perry, Tom Dixon, Ableton, True & Co, Naim Audio, Wildsmith Skin and Pink.

Made Thought is also displaying its archive of its work from the past decade for clients such as Design Miami, MoMA and Stella McCartney.

The programme will include the launch of a Fred Perry x Made Thought exclusive collection, a contemporary dance performance celebrating the re-brand of underwear label True & Co, a soundscape to showcase Naim Audio’s technology, and a’biodynamic living’ workshop hosted by skincare brand Wildsmith and eco-hotel Heckfield Place.

Paul Austin, director and founding partner of Made Thought, said: “We hope that exploring and experimenting with such diverse brands, retail concepts and ideas in one dynamic space will inspire other brands to push what they offer consumers in their retail offerings and lead to wider creative conversations about the power and opportunities of creative collaborations and programming in retail today.”

Visitors to the store will also be able to buy items  from Made Thoughts’ limited edition lifestyle collection which has been designed specifically for the store.
