Everything Everywhere to expand its UK store portfolio to 750
By the end of 2011 the telecommunications firm formed by the merger of Orange and T-Mobile plans to have opened a further 30 new outlets in the UK.
The stores will all be branded as Everything Everywhere, offering all products & services from Orange and T-Mobile.
Trial stores were first launched by the company in February and were designed to offer simplicity and choice in an interactive environment, delivering a ‘21st century retail experience’ for customers.
Customers can have more interaction with products, download apps, charge their phones and go online in-store.
Tom Alexander, CEO of Everything Everywhere, said, “It means that by the end of this year we’ll have created more opportunities for our people, more choice for our customers and more potential for our business.”
It was also confirmed today that concession and 50/50 joint Orange/T-Mobile stores will still be trialled by the firm alongside the Everything Everywhere branded outlets.
Results for the firm’s first nine months, published in February, showed that revenues had grown 1.5 per cent for the operation since the merger and an internal survey has shown that footfall increased 25 per cent compared to other communication retail stores in recent months.
